DORIS McCOY - ANCHORAGE

DORIS McCOY joined the ANCHORAGE office in April 2004 to manage a new department formed to handle a large facility maintenance contract for First National Bank of Alaska. The contract is an all inclusive agreement for maintenance of 37 properties located throughout the state of Alaska. This was a new venture for the ANCHORAGE office and required expertise managing contracts and dealing with financial reporting. DORIS came with limited knowledge of the HVAC business; however she had the contract and customer service management experience that was required. DORIS helped finalize the initial contract negotiations and helped set up the framework to manage this $1.1 M per year 5 year contract.

DORIS now has much greater knowledge of the HVAC industry with the assistance of the ANCHORAGE Service Department technicians and mechanics. The contract also includes tasks such as interior and exterior maintenance, parking lot maintenance, plumbing maintenance, electrical maintenance and annual building surveys. This work is done through a combination of CCI employees and sub-contracted.

The contract has renewed to the third contract year and is now in the area where the repairs, upgrades, energy savings projects and capital improvements identified in the building surveys are happening in full force as the Bank elects to do them. This keeps DORIS plenty active and involved with the Bank on a daily basis. This is the most challenging period of the contract in keeping maintenance at the levels of expectation of the Bank and costs in line with budgets of the contract. DORIS is up for the challenge and is helping make this a successful operation.

In her spare time DORIS also enjoys working with youth in a cheerleading organization she operates.
